Russian Helicopters to control 80% of maintenance, servicing market

Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has cleared Russian Helicopters to buy four aviation plants, allowing the firm to occupy 80% of the market for helicopter maintenance and servicing of civil and military helicopters, according to the antitrust service’s statement released Wednesday.

The approval was given with some conditions.

The four plants are the 356 Aviation Repair Plant, the 31 Aviation Technological Equipment Plant, the 810 Aviation Repair Plant, and the 419 Aviation Repair Plant.
