Leonid Belykh

Managing Director of Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant
In 1969, he began his career as a circuit installer at an aviation factory. He has worked as a foreman, shop superintendent, and deputy chief engineer. Beginning in 1996, Mr. Belykh was Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales, and in 1998 he was appointed General Director of Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant.
Leonid Belykh was born in 1950 in the village of Bichura in the Republic of Buryatia. In 1982, he graduated from the Academy of Civil Aviation in Leningrad, and in 1990 from the Higher School of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions. In 2000, he received a PhD in economics from the Central Institute of Aerohydrodynamics.
